About this hotel

••••Barmac ——–
Kalimpong’s new travel address, called offbeat destination. The distance between Siliguri to Barmac is 75′ km, height is about 5,800 feet. Barmac has become a truly eco-friendly travel center with the conscious and sincere efforts of the regional people. The valleys surrounded by incense and pine forests are cultivated. Mainly Nepalese and Lepchas live in this village. There are some Bhutiya too. As a result, a mixed culture atmosphere has been created in this village. The main pine forest is here. Different types of bird sightings are available there. There are plenty of butterflies too. The ruins of the Damsung Fort are nearby. This fort was built in 1690 to fight Bhutan. Many folklore is connected to the Damsung Fort. From here the flow of Rangpo river is seen as the Kanchanjunga range. You’ll see the beauty of sunrise, you’ll see the amazing view of sunset from Sunset Point. Also view of Kanchanjunga from the Homestead balcony. Early morning you can walk out for a morning walk along the village road with the fragrance of Himalayan orchids and flowers.
★Nearby sightseeing places — Rameti View Point, Damsung Fort, Ramdhura, Ichchchha Gaon -etc can be visited in a day. But for travel lovers who don’t like the racing of sites, this Barmac will be the best address for those who just want to feel the solitude of nature.
